From September 2021, all primary schools were required to teach 'relationships education' and 'health education' and it became statutory. At Queen's Drive, we have been teaching PSHE (personal, social, health education) for a number of years and only made a few simple changes to the curriculum content to be in line with the government policy. Information about our curriculum and guidance documents for parents was shared during Summer 2021 for feedback and questions from parents. A 'parentmail' survey was sent out to collect responses and was used to shape our planning and policy.

Consultation Autumn 2024 - As this is now 3 years ago, we want to ensure that the curriculum / policy are still meeting the needs of our children. We have included the frameworks with topics for EYFS and KS1 with a selection of KS1 teaching units for you to read in more detail and see how these topics are taught. We are now requesting feedback, comments and questions from parents which will will use to make any necessary changes. Please complete the parent survey which you will receive via Parentmail by 10th November.
